RELATED OARC DELIVERY
MERIDIAN RETAIL RESPONSE is an OARC client project of customer-support and sales workflow design. It explores how a retailer could carry the context of a question from the channel where it arrived to the person or process that can responsibly resolve, qualify, or escalate it.
Where does a customer question lose its owner, context, and urgency as it passes across teams?
The scenario separates routine resolution, active-sales qualification, and consequential escalation. Each route carries the original question, relevant history, reason for the next action, and a named accountability point instead of treating every message as identical automation input.
The case shows OARC’s method for modelling an accountable response system through OARC artefacts and scenario logic. It does not document a retailer, customer messages, deployed workflow, customer-support KPI, or revenue result.
Use this study to evaluate whether your customer response process needs a clearer route, not as evidence of a finished retail transformation. A useful first project conversation begins with real channels, repeated questions, handoff failures, and the person who owns the consequential exception.
READ THIS BY THE REAL PROBLEM
THE ACCOUNTABLE TRACE
A customer question reaches the business through any channel.
The next team does not have to start from zero. The system identifies the kind of response the question needs.
A routine issue is not treated like a high-value conversation. The request moves toward the right type of action.
The customer gets a more appropriate next step.A human receives the decision that requires accountability.
Human attention is reserved for the point at which it matters.THE CLIENT JOURNEY
Meridian begins with a common retail tension: a customer asks one question, but the answer is distributed across product, service, sales, and fulfilment teams. The issue is not the volume of messages. It is the missing context at the next handoff.

The original system sorts a request into three deliberately different paths: resolve a routine need, qualify an active sales conversation, or escalate a consequential exception to an accountable person. Each pathway carries the detail needed for the next action.

Meridian is not a concept about replacing the person who owns a customer relationship. It is about making that person easier to reach at the moment their judgment matters.

ORIGINAL ROUTING ARTEFACT

This visual is a deliberately abstract operations prototype. It shows the logic of a routed conversation and contains no client messages, data, or performance result.

The scenario collects the question, relevant history, and urgency into one view.
The next team does not have to start from zero.Intent and context are separated from channel noise.
A routine issue is not treated like a high-value conversation.Resolve, qualify, and escalate are explicit paths—not hidden automations.
The customer gets a more appropriate next step. The handoff carries the history, the reason, and the unresolved question.

CLIENT CONCEPT PROJECT
Client project / campaign and prototype delivered by OARC
OARC delivered this concept, visual world, and working prototype against a focused client brief to make a sharper system or experience tangible.
Client brief, OARC thinking, and a delivered prototype.THE CLIENT PROJECT
It is an OARC client project exploring how a retail organisation could connect customer support, sales qualification, and operational escalation in one accountable workflow.
No. Meridian is an original OARC concept study. Its brand, artefacts, and workflow are created to explain an approach, not to represent a real external retailer.
It shows the handoff problem, the routing logic, the human ownership point, and the intended customer-value path without inventing commercial results.
Meridian Retail Response is an OARC client project. It demonstrates an operational design principle, not a deployed retailer transformation or a measured client outcome.
